Medical Malpractice Defense Verdict

In October of 2002, Vincent A Nagler successfully defended a pediatrician accused of failing to diagnose a dangerous form of bacterial pneumonia in a two year old child. The infant subsequently underwent a left lower lobe thoracotomy. After deliberating for only 45 minutes, the jury returned a verdict in favor of the doctor. This case was reported in the New York Jury Verdict Reporter
