 
Summary Judgment Motion Granted
In September 2003, Scott W. Bermack obtained summary judgment dismissing all causes of action brought by a welder against a general contractor. The plaintiff, who lost his useful sight when a steel grinding disc shattered, claimed the contractor was negligent and violated New York's labor law by failing to provide him with appropriate equipment.
