 
Medical Malpractice Defense Verdict
On August 11, 2005, Scott W. Bermack won a defense verdict in favor of a prominent Bronx orthopedic surgeon who was accused by one of his patients of mismanaging a lateral malleolar fracture. It took the New York County jury less than two hours to return a verdict in favor of our client, unanimously concluding that the doctor did not deviate from the standard of care.
