 
FDCPA Case Dismissed
In March of 2006, Scott W. Bermack and Joshua C. Weisberg were successful in obtaining summary judgment, dismissing a putative class action law suit brought against a worldwide debt collection agency, sued for alleged violations of the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). In denying plaintiff's motion and granting our motion, US District Judge I. Leo Glasser (EDNY) recognized that our client's collection efforts were perfectly appropriate.
