Received a Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School in 1996. Mr. Herbert received a B.S. in Communications with a minor in Business from St. John's University in 1988. While in law school, Mr. Herbert was a student law clerk to Justice Harold Baer of the United States District Court, Southern District of New York.

Following his graduation from law school, Mr. Herbert was associated with another litigation firm, where he specialized in general negligence and complex tort cases.

Mr. Herbert is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York and the State of New Jersey. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York and for the District of New Jersey. Mr. Herbert is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and New York County Lawyers Association.
