Mary Grace Callahan is an associate attorney in CKBB’s New Jersey office.  She concentrates in the areas of medical malpractice defense and general liability litigation.

Mrs. Callahan attended Ann May School of Nursing, Neptune, NJ from 1978 to 1981, receiving her diploma in nursing.  She practiced as a registered nurse until 1997.  She continued her education at Georgian Court College, Lakewood, NJ, where she received the Distinguished Academic Achievement Award and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 1995.  Mrs. Callahan received her Juris Doctor in 2000 from Rutgers University School of Law, Camden, NJ.

Mrs. Callahan clerked for the Honorable Alexander D. Lehrer, J.S.C. of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Monmouth County, from 2000 to 2001.  She was admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey in 2001.  In the same year she was also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Mrs. Callahan commenced private practice in 2002 with another law firm specializing in medical malpractice defense.  She has concentrated her practice in the area of medical malpractice defense and has represented hospitals, nurses and physicians in numerous malpractice cases throughout New Jersey.  She also specializes in the defense of general liability claims.
